Stage Management

I stumbled upon Stage Management at the Madison Theatre on Long Island as a college theatre student looking to learn more about the industry and quickly found a passion in it! Since then, I have had the opportunity to work at venues I thought I could only dream of, such as Carnegie Hall, Guild Hall, and the New York Theatre Festival.

I believe that my initial background in performance allows me to approach Stage Management with empathy, and motivates me to work as efficiently and with as much integrity as possible. Throughout my undergrad, it was very important to me to make time to be a part of developing student-produced works, which showed me how passionate I was about supporting artists in each step of their careers. I hope to make a difference in the theatrical industry from the inside out, and my ultimate goal is to leave the industry better than I found it.

More Creative/Tech Theatre Work!

With an industry that is constantly evolving, it is important to me to stay as current as possible and to implement the healthiest practices of running a show as I can. I am proud of the recent training provided by my BFA program regarding expectations around fight and intimacy choreography/coordination, and I strive to make sure that theatre is a safe and inclusive environment for all. Other miscellaneous positions I have held on creative teams/backstage include Assistant Director, Backstage Swing, Build Crew, Run Crew, Dog Wrangler, and even Covid Safety Officer (Certified!)

Philosophy/Goals

My undergraduate training solidified my desire to be a changemaker. I realized that protecting artists is my ultimate goal, and along with learning, training, and working in theatre, I realized that I had a love of contracts and intellectual property, which led me to now pursue a Master of Legal Studies Degree through the University of Arizona’s online program to continue working in NYC!
